Our luxury travel experts were contacted by a VIP client in North Carolina, who was taking four friends to cheer on Ohio State in the CFP National Championship. Less than a week before kick-off, we were tasked with designing a bespoke trip to Atlanta, complete with private flights, high-end accommodation and match tickets.

Knowing our client likes to fly in Cessna CitationJets for shorter trips like this one, we drew on our relationship with an operator in Atlanta to negotiate a fantastic rate for the charter of a CJ2+. Despite high demand for airport slots, we managed to bag one at short notice, as well as arranging a luxury car service to transport the group to and from the airport.

Worried there would be no luxury accommodation left so close to the game, our client had pre-booked rooms at a five-star hotel before getting in touch with us. Reaching out to our contact at the hotel, we were able to take over the reservation and add extra perks such as money-back and complimentary breakfast.

The client regularly attends football games and knows the market well, so we were given a strict budget when sourcing his tickets. Working with our preferred events partner, we negotiated a great deal on a private suite at the arena with food and drinks included. As the suite had seating for 22 people, our client was able to invite additional friends and relatives to join him for the game, which made the trip extra special.

The Finer Details

Personal Touch: We arranged Ohio State-themed cupcakes on the aircraft and welcome gifts at the hotel, along with a card thanking the client for the chance to plan their getaway.

24/7 Communication: When the departure airport suffered a power outage, we kept the client updated on their charter whilst working to get things moving as soon as possible.
